Robert Priest is considered by his peers to be one of the design world’s top Creative Directors. His impressive pedigree includes numerous awards for design, photography and illustration from The Society of Publication Designers, Art Directors Club, the American Institute for Graphic Arts, D&AD and the American Society of Magazine Editors. He has been Design Director for O, The Oprah Magazine, Condé Nast Portfolio, Esquire, GQ, House & Garden,and Newsweek among others. In 2009, Robert teamed up with Grace to form Priest+Grace, a design company in New York. He was also the former Creative Director and founding partner of Howler, the soccer magazine that has won design awards for its first and second issues. He is a frequent judge of editorial publication competitions including ASME, SPD, and CRMA. Robert also co-founded American Illustration/ American Photography. A former youth soccer coach, he is a nervous fan of Manchester United (although, sadly, he’s from London).
