Here we are, a few days after the midterms, no matter what your point of view is, we can safely say the outcome of the 2026 US midterms will be recorded as historic. To help us understand and digest the aftermath of the midterms we invited two distinguished guests to share their observations.
Diane Ravitch is an historian of education, an educational policy analyst, and a research professor, plus the author of An Education – How I Changed My Mind About Schools and Almost Everything Else. Ms. Ravitch also publishes a blog conveniently titled Diane Ravitch’s blog where she voices and discusses her opinion on education and democracy. Diane is not one to shy away from speaking her mind. For many decades she has witnessed and commented on the political turmoils in our society. The first and present Trump administrations have outraged Diane who acknowledges she has seen more than her fair share of “bad behavior”. During our conversation Diane Ravitch suggests the “2026 US midterms are a turning point, people are not willing to put up with this insainity”.

In the second half of the show, clinical psychologist Vince Greenwood Ph.D, author of Puppet On A String – Trump Is Ruled by an Ominous Psychological Condition shares his thoughts on on a psychopath’s reaction to the midterm results. Greenwood explains although he has not interviewed Trump in person there is more than enough evidential information to form an accurate clinical diagnoses. In evaluating Trump’s reaction to the landslide Democrat victory in the midterms, Greenwood explains, “Like any diagnosed psychopath/malignant narcissist, Donald Trump has had to suffer a life devoid of love, depth, conscience, or any hope of self-discipline. It is a life incapable of developing a caring obligation toward others, incapable of remorse for callous or immoral behavior, and incapable of pursuing anything beyond his immediate self-interest.”
