Joseph Finder’s plan was to become a spy. Or maybe a professor of Russian history. Instead, he became a bestselling thriller writer. In Guilty Minds, his latest tome, the chief justice of the Supreme Court is about to be defamed, his career destroyed, by a powerful gossip website that specializes in dirt on celebs and politicians. Nick Heller is a private spy—an intelligence operative based in Boston, hired by lawyers, politicians, and even foreign governments. A high-powered investigator with a penchant for doing things his own way, he’s called to Washington, DC, to help out in this delicate, potentially explosive situation. Is Nick Heller Mr. Finder’s alter ego? Find out when Norman B interviews the critically acclaimed author.

It’s a cross between a fashion magazine and a football zine. Named after the shared time division, it reveals the experiences and rituals of fashion and football fans. Their perspectives on the world’s most popular sport are explored in thoughtful and intimate ways, focusing on why these fans care and what they wear. Featuring interviews, essays, photography and more from up-and-coming creatives, Season aims to kick off a dialogue acknowledging how modern football and fashion play into each other. With an introduction like that, we couldn’t resist. So we set up an interview with Season Zine creator and editor, Felicia Pennant. Little did we know that Felicia would be so exuberant and charming. A proposed ten-minute interview turned into over an hour of Ms. Pennant chatting enthusiastically with Norman B. Her passion for soccer and her beautiful magazine is infectious, so we decided to share with you a sneak preview in this edition of Life Elsewhere. We have added images from Season Zine in the slide show above.
