Sexy Videos. New Music. Famous Parents.

Our headline was written deliberately to get your attention. In the latest post at BACK. Norman B looks at the beginnings of music videos and MTV, wondering if recent creative and most decidedly sexy filmatic music promotions signal an open and unabashed attitude towards what was almost taboo, back in 1981. Check out the three provocative videos he selected to illustrate the post, (and scroll down to see more from earlier entries).

Being aware of what’s happening in culture, is why Life Elsewhere exists. We work enthusiastically delving into subjects worth sharing, in ways other media presentations are not equipped or able to try. Norman B engages with guests, asking questions that are not on a PR’s cheat sheet. His often emotional, personal reactions are genuine, this is the essence of Life Elsewhere.

In the next edition of Life Elsewhere, that spirit comes across as Norman B begins his interview with championship-winning soccer player, Robbie Rogers. The host relates a personal story, which takes Robbie by surprise. Tune in and hear how Robbie Rogers made history by standing up and coming out as a gay athlete. He recounts his courageous story of being closeted and the trauma he went through in his book, Coming Out To Play.

Also, regular contributor Bob Ross, film and media expert, joins the program to discuss the Holiday movie releases, including the almost seemingly fictitious revelation that North Korea is behind the Sony Pictures cyber attack. Plus another, clever listener has sent us a wonderful suggestion for this week’s Hit That Never Was. Find out what that song is; hear what Bob Ross has to say about Holiday movies and soccer player, Robbie Rogers talking about coming out, all on the next edition of Life Elsewhere.

Life Elsewhere airs Monday at 9.00am ET
